Stewardship Lenten Resolution Project

This year for Lent, the Stewardship Committee is asking all Holy Spirit Parishioners to participate in a special project. We'd like everyone (all ages!) to make a Lenten Resolution. Pledge to give something up for Lent - like your morning Starbucks Coffee, sweets, ice cream, snacking, going to the movies or out to dinner, or shopping. We're asking you to save just a portion of what you'd normally spend on these "vices" each week. You can make a special collection bank (see examples in the vestibule) or use a Lenten coin folder (available in the vestibule) if you'd rather, to keep your weekly collections in. You can do this project individually or as a family if you'd prefer. This will begin on Ash Wednesday and end on Easter Sunday. The week after Easter, in both churches, there will be a Resurrection Fountain for you to put your collections in. All money collected for this sacrificial giving will be shared between the Life Center (new homeless shelter) and the Stewardship Committee to use for outreach for the Holy Spirit Parish. Your involvement in this project is essential in making Stewardship a part of your life and our Parish.
Stations of the Cross will be held during this Lenten Season as follows:
SA Church each Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
IC Church each Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.
DONATIONS REQUESTED:
For his senior project, a CMHS student is collecting gently used DVDs, music CDs, and audio books to donate to the Ross Library. Collection boxes are available in the churches and the Parish Center.

Meals served 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Immaculate Conception Church Hall Price: $8 adults, $4 children (6-12), children under 6 free.
Setup: 1 PM- approx. 2:30 PM
Kitchen: 1 PM to end
Servers: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Clean-up: 6:15 PM to end
Candy Sale: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM

We have need for help in all areas. Please see sign up sheets in both churches and indicate your availability. If you have any questions, please see a committee member, or contact Mary Lou at 769-7039.
SPRING FEST
It is time to start collecting theme baskets, valued at $25 or more. Please attach a tag listing the items in the basket. You may drop off the baskets at the Holy Spirit Parish office at any time. Chances will be mailed to all parishioners very soon, so keep an eye on the mailbox for those. *** We would like to thank the handful of people who continue to show up each week to make candy. And thank you Steve Bianchi and Rich Hull for co-leading our candy-making efforts. Candy-making continues again this week Tuesday through Thursday at 9 AM and Thursday evening at 5:30.
