Thoughts on Stewardship as a Way of Life
“He said to the gardener, ‘For three years now I have come in search of fruit on this fig tree but
have found none.’” -
Are we like the barren fig tree? What does God find
when He searches for the fruits which we have given back?
May the awareness of our sins lead us to repentance so that we may bear fruit through
a responsible, accountable Christ-

LK 31:1-
The owner of the orchard in today’s gospel was disappointed with the fig tree and ordered it cut down. When others disappoint us today’s gospel tells us to imitate the gardener. Don’t cut them out of your life by silence or ignoring them. Rather give them more time and assistance. Families don’t give up on each other. When others reject, family accepts!
